Anti-GPR146 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 146. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 333 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, Gpr146 is categorized as a type of orphan receptor. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include probable G-protein coupled receptor 146 and G-protein coupled receptor PGR8. GPR146 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Gpr146 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies.
