Anti-ADAM metallopeptidase domain 19 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ADAM19 in humans. The gene may also be known as a disintegrin and metallopeptidase domain 19 (meltrin beta), MLTNB, MADDAM, and FKSG34. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 105 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
