Anti-FAM19A3 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FAM19A3 antigen is another term for the human protein TAFA chemokine like family member 3, encoded by the TAFA3 gene. The protein is reported to play a role in the regulation of microglia polarization. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 133 residues and a mass of 14.8 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is reported to have brain-specific expression. The FAM19A3 protein is a member of the TAFA protein family. ELISA is the most common application for the FAM19A3 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
