Anti-ZSCAN4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger and SCAN domain containing 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 433 amino acid residues and a mass of 49 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. ZSCAN4 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 4 and zinc finger protein 494. ZSCAN4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. A number of ZSCAN4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
