Anti-DNAJC25 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member C25. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 360 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the DNAJC25 protein family, DNAJC25 is known to be involved with protein folding. Synonyms for this target antigen include DnaJ (Hsp40) homolog, subfamily C , member 25, DnaJ-like protein, and dnaJ homolog subfamily C member 25. DNAJC25 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the DNAJC25 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
