Anti-BET1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Bet1 golgi vesicular membrane trafficking protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 118 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and Golgi. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the BET1 protein family, BET1 is known to be required for vesicular transport from the ER to the Golgi complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include BET1 homolog, Bet1p homolog, Golgi vesicular membrane trafficking protein p18, blocked early in transport 1 homolog, golgi vesicular membrane-trafficking protein p18, and HBET1.
