Anti-ZFP3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ZFP3 zinc finger protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 502 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZFP3 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include zinc finger protein 752, zinc finger protein homologous to Zfp-3 in mouse, and zinc finger protein 3 homolog. ZFP3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some ZFP3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
