Anti-HCS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HCS1 is a known alias name of the protein chorionic somatomammotropin hormone 1, encoded by the CSH1 gene in humans. This 217-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Somatotropin/prolactin protein family. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the pituitary gland and placenta.
