Anti-PCC1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PCC1 is a known alias name of the protein L antigen family member 3, encoded by the LAGE3 gene in humans. This 143-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the EKC/KEOPS complex that is required for the formation of a threonylcarbamoyl group on adenosine at position 37 (t(6)A37) in tRNAs that read codons beginning with adenine. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types.
