Anti-AHD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AHD is a known alias name of the protein jagged canonical Notch ligand 1, encoded by the JAG1 gene in humans. This 1218-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in angiogenesis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed in adult and fetal tissues. Other synonyms for AHD include AGS and AGS1. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for AHD antibodies.
