Anti-SGEF antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SGEF antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ARHGEF26 gene, which encodes Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor 26. This protein is known to function in GTPase activation, among other biological roles. The human version of SGEF has a canonical amino acid length of 871 residues and a protein mass of 97.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell projections of cells and notably expressed in the skeletal muscle, heart muscle, esophagus, duodenum, and breast. Other names for this target antigen include CSGEF and HMFN1864. Indicated applications for SGEF antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
