Anti-SPATC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein spermatogenesis and centriole associated 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 591 amino acid residues and a mass of 62.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Speriolin protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include spermatogenesis and centriole-associated protein 1, spermatogenesis-associated protein 15, spermatogenic cell-specific Cdc20-binding protein, testicular tissue protein Li 181, and speriolin. SPATC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some SPATC1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
