Anti-EPS8L3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein EPS8 like 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 593 amino acid residues and a mass of 66.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the small intestine, gallbladder, duodenum, colon, and appendix. It is a member of the EPS8 protein family. The EPS8L3 gene has been associated with the disease, Hypotrichosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include EPS8-like protein 3, EPS8-related protein 3, epidermal growth factor receptor pathway substrate 8-related protein 3, and epidermal growth factor receptor kinase substrate 8-like protein 3. EPS8L3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Eps8L3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
