Anti-Mesogenin 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the MSGN1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 193 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is known to be involved in specifying the paraxial, but not dorsal, mesoderm. Other names for this target antigen include pMesogenin1 and paraxial mesoderm-specific mesogenin1. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the Mesogenin 1 antibodies listed below. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
