Anti-ARHGAP20 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Rho GTPase activating protein 20. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1191 amino acid residues and a mass of 132.6 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 4 different isoforms for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the brain. ARHGAP20 is known to be a GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. Synonyms for this target antigen include RA and RhoGAP domain containing protein and rho-type GTPase-activating protein 20.
