Anti-ARHGAP15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Rho GTPase activating protein 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 475 amino acid residues and a mass of 54.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in the lung, liver and lymphoid cells. ARHGAP15 is known to be a GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. Synonyms for this target antigen include rho-type GTPase-activating protein 15. ARHGAP15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ARHGAP15 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
