Anti-MX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MX is a known alias name of the protein MX dynamin like GTPase 1, encoded by the MX1 gene in humans. This 662-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and viral immune response, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Western Blot is the most common application for the MX antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
