Anti-OGDC antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The OGDC antigen is another term for the human protein oxoglutarate dehydrogenase, encoded by the OGDH gene. The protein is known to function in brain development, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1023 residues and a mass of 115.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and mitochondria and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The OGDC protein is a member of the Alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase protein family. Other alias names for OGDC include AKGDH, AKGDH, and E1k. Indicated applications for OGDC antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
