Anti-NA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NA is a known alias name of the protein X-linked Kx blood group antigen, Kell and VPS13A binding protein, encoded by the XK gene in humans. This 444-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of intracellular calcium, among other biological processes. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, brain, and pancreas; low levels in the placenta, lung, liver, and kidney. Indicated applications for NA antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
