Anti-LTg antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LTg antigen is another term for the human protein TNF superfamily member 14, encoded by the TNFSF14 gene. The protein is a reported to be a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF3/LTBR. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 240 residues and a mass of 26.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, and is secreted. It is reported to be highly expressed in the the spleen but also found in the brain. The LTg protein is a member of the Tumor necrosis factor protein family. Other alias names for LTg include CD258, CD258, and HVEML. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for LTg antibodies.
