Anti-JAW1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target JAW1 is a known alias name of the protein inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate receptor associated 2, encoded by the IRAG2 gene in humans. This 555-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in the delivery of peptides to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules; this occurs in a transporter associated with antigen processing (TAP)-independent manner. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed at high levels in pre B-cells, mature B-cells and pre T-cells. Other synonyms for JAW1 include LRMP and lymphoid restricted membrane protein. Indicated applications for JAW1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
