Anti-TRIM65 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tripartite motif containing 65. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 517 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family, TRIM65 is known to be involved with autophagy pathways and protein phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM65 and tripartite motif-containing protein 65. TRIM65 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TRIM65 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
