Anti-Filamin C, gamma antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Filamin C, gamma is a known alias name of the protein filamin C, encoded by the FLNC gene in humans. This 2725-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a muscle-specific filamin, which plays a central role in sarcomere assembly and organization. It is localized to the membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in striated muscles. Other synonyms for Filamin C, gamma include ABP-280, ABP280A, and ABPA. Some Filamin C, gamma antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
