Anti-GANP antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene MCM3AP, or 'minichromosome maintenance complex component 3 associated protein' in humans. The 1980-amino acid protein is a member of the SAC3 family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
