Anti-MIP1A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MIP1A is a known alias name of the protein C-C motif chemokine ligand 3, encoded by the CCL3 gene in humans. This 92-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the transport of ions and cell to cell signaling, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features cleaved post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for MIP1A include G0S19-1, LD78ALPHA, and MIP-1-alpha. Western Blot is a widely used application for the MIP1A antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
