Anti-DnaJ heat shock protein family (Hsp40) member B9 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DNAJB9 in humans. The gene may also be known as ERdj4, MDG-1, MDG1, MST049, dnaJ homolog subfamily B member 9, and DnaJ (Hsp40) homolog, subfamily B, member 9. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 25.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
