Anti-Hyp antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Hyp antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PHEX gene, which encodes phosphate regulating endopeptidase X-linked. This protein is known to function in bone development and cell to cell signaling, among other biological roles. The human version of Hyp has a canonical amino acid length of 749 residues and a protein mass of 86.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells. Hyp is a member of the Peptidase M13 protein family. Indicated applications for Hyp antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
