Anti-Cyclin B3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the CCNB3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1395 amino acid residues and a mass of 157.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. It is reported to have testis-specific expression. A member of the Cyclin protein family, it is known to be involved with cell division. Post-translational modifications have been described, including ubiquitination. Other names for this target antigen include G2/mitotic-specific cyclin-B3.
