Anti-ZAP-70 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ZAP-70 is a known alias name of the protein zeta chain of T cell receptor associated protein kinase 70, encoded by the ZAP70 gene in humans. This 619-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a tyrosine kinase that plays an essential role in regulation of the adaptive immune response. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in T- and natural killer cells. Western Blot is the most common application for the ZAP-70 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
