Anti-C(3)G antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C(3)G antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RAPGEF1 gene, which encodes Rap guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1. This protein is known to function in neuronal development, among other biological roles. The human version of C(3)G has a canonical amino acid length of 1077 residues and a protein mass of 120.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the endosome of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as GRF2.
