Anti-HCF antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The HCF antigen is another term for the human protein host cell factor C1, encoded by the HCFC1 gene. The protein is known to function in the cell cycle and chromatin remodeling, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 2035 residues and a mass of 208.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be highly expressed in fetal tissues and the adult kidney. Other alias names for HCF include CFF and HCF-1. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for HCF antibodies.
