Anti-Apm antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Apm is a known alias name of the protein alanyl aminopeptidase, membrane, encoded by the ANPEP gene in humans. This 967-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in angiogenesis and cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features O-glycosylated, cleaved and sulfated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Other synonyms for Apm include AP-N and APN. Flow Cytometry is the most common application for the Apm antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
