Anti-cfm2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cfm2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RFLNA gene, which encodes refilin A. This protein is reported to be involved in regulation of the perinuclear actin network and nuclear shape through interaction with filamins. The human version of cfm2 has a canonical amino acid length of 216 residues and a protein mass of 23.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis, stomach, small intestine, and fallopian tube. cfm2 is a member of the Refilin protein family.
