Anti-CyCAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CyCAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LGALS3BP gene, which encodes galectin 3 binding protein. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and signal transduction pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of CyCAP has a canonical amino acid length of 585 residues and a protein mass of 65.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include 90K and BTBD17B. Indicated applications for CyCAP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
