Anti-SRB11 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SRB11 is a known alias name of the protein cyclin C, encoded by the CCNC gene in humans. This 283-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in regulated gene transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the pancreas.
