PIP4, or Deoxyuridine triphosphatase, is a human gene encoded by DUT. It may also be known as: Deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase, mitochondrial; dUTPase; dUTP pyrophosphatase; dUTP diphosphatase. The encoded protein is an enzyme with an amino acid length of 252 and a mass of 26.6 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. PIP4 is a member of the DUTPase family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Fly, Frog.
