Anti-Glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene GPAT4 in humans. The gene may also be known as TSARG7, 1-AGPAT 6, AGPAT6, LPAAT-zeta, LPAATZ, and 1-AGP acyltransferase 6. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 52.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
