Anti-IAN9 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IAN9 is a known alias name of the protein GTPase, IMAP family member 8, encoded by the GIMAP8 gene in humans. This 665-amino acid residue protein is a member of the AIG1/Toc34/Toc159-like paraseptin GTPase protein family. It is localized to the mitochondria, ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the spleen, intestine, liver, and colon, as well as in the lung, placenta, kidney, muscle, and heart. Indicated applications for IAN9 antibodies listed below include Western Blot.
