Anti-PAPIII antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PAPIII antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ANXA3 gene, which encodes annexin A3. This protein is known to function in brain development and the regulation of angiogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of PAPIII has a canonical amino acid length of 323 residues and a protein mass of 36.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ANX3, 35-alpha calcimedin, and Annexin III (lipocortin III). Western Blot is the most common application for the PAPIII antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
