Anti-Utb1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Utb1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC14A1 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 14 member 1 (Kidd blood group). This protein is known to function in cellular localization and transmembrane transport, among other biological roles. The human version of Utb1 has a canonical amino acid length of 389 residues and a protein mass of 42.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and colon. Other names for this target antigen include HUT11, HUT11A, and HsT1341.
