Anti-MSA1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MSA1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the COQ2 gene, which encodes coenzyme Q2, polyprenyltransferase. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of MSA1 has a canonical amino acid length of 371 residues and a protein mass of 40.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CL640 and COQ10D1. Indicated applications for MSA1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
