Anti-FLA3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FLA3 is a known alias name of the protein kinesin associated protein 3, encoded by the KIFAP3 gene in humans. This 792-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in tethering the chromosomes to the spindle pole and in chromosome movement. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
