Anti-DVL1P1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DVL1P1 is a known alias name of the protein dishevelled segment polarity protein 1, encoded by the DVL1 gene in humans. This 695-amino acid residue protein is reported to participate in Wnt signaling by binding to the cytoplasmic C-terminus of frizzled family members and transducing the Wnt signal to down-stream effectors. It is localized to the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
