Anti-APBD antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target APBD is a known alias name of the protein 1,4-alpha-glucan branching enzyme 1, encoded by the GBE1 gene in humans. This 702-amino acid residue protein is reported to be required for normal glycogen accumulation. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term GBE is another synonym for APBD. Indicated applications for APBD antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
