Anti-UBOX7 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UBOX7 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PPIL2 gene, which encodes peptidylprolyl isomerase like 2. This protein is known to function in protein folding and protein localization to the plasma membrane, among other biological roles. The human version of UBOX7 has a canonical amino acid length of 520 residues and a protein mass of 58.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CYC4, CYP60, and Cyp-60.
