Anti-DIC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DIC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DNAI2 gene, which encodes dynein axonemal intermediate chain 2. This protein is known to function in cilium assembly, among other biological roles. The human version of DIC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 605 residues and a protein mass of 68.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the nasopharynx, fallopian tube, endometrium, cervix, and bronchus. DIC2 is a member of the Dynein intermediate chain protein family. Indicated applications for DIC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
