Anti-GPV antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GPV is a known alias name of the protein glycoprotein V platelet, encoded by the GP5 gene in humans. This 560-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for GPV include CD42d and CD42d. Indicated applications for GPV antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
