I used this when performing co-immunoprecipitation. I needed a way to elute my proteins without eluting my antibodies- hence the non-reducing. I followed up my co-IP with western blotting

I used this, along with boiling, to elute my proteins from agarose beads in co-IP. I was able to elute only the protein and no IgG from the beads.
