SD DIO 60% is a diet-induced obesity rat model established by feeding Sprague-Dawley rats a 40% or 60% high-fat diet. The model develops stable obesity, hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, glucose intolerance, dyslipidemia, and fatty liver and is suitable for metabolic disease research and efficacy evaluation of anti-obesity, glucose-lowering, and lipid-lowering therapeutics
