RNA labeling kits contain ready-to-use reagents necessary to produce labeled RNA oligonucleotides, which are often used as probes for microarrays, in situ hybridization, and other RNA detection applications. Labels, which include biotin, fluorophores, and other non-radioactive ligands, can be attached to RNA in a number of ways. Using T4 RNA ligase, a labeled nucleotide analog can be conjugated to the 3' end of an RNA fragment. Driven by a T7 polymerase, RNA can be also amplified to incorporate labeled nucleotides. Visit the RNA labeling kit supplier page for more information, including details on the protocol and the kit components.
